How to make a UPI payment QR code
- Enter your UPI ID (VPA) and the payee name.
- Leave the amount empty to let the payer enter it, or set one.
- Print it at your counter and test it with a small payment.
What a UPI payment QR code contains
You can include: UPI ID, Payee name, Amount (INR), Note. For example, the code for this page’s sample holds:

Do you take a cut of payments?
No. The code only tells the payer's UPI app where to pay; money goes directly to your account.

Do static QR codes expire?
No. The content is stored in the code itself, so it keeps working as long as the print does.
